SIG Event - online

The ARMS Research Impact Special Interest Group  (RI-SIG) will continue its monthly networking sessions in 2024, held on the last Thursday of each month from 12-1pm AEDT/AEST.

These sessions offer a chance to discuss current research impact issues and opportunities. This year, we'll mix it up with guest speaker sessions and open informal conversations based on various topics, encouraging our community to connect and share ideas.

This month we’ll be diving into the topic of Research Impact Strategies! Is Research Impact part of your institutional strategy, or does it stand alone? Do you even have a strategy around this? And if you do, how was it developed (if you know)? What does it cover? How's it been received? And most importantly, is it being successfully implemented?

We’ll be encouraging participants to share their experiences, as well as discussing the blog post (and referenced paper) from Mark Reed and Saskia Gent following an analysis of 70 impact strategies across the globe.

Please join us for an engaging discussion!
