South Australian Chapter Event: From a Clinician Researcher to an Institute Director 

You are invited to join the SA Chapter of ARMS for their first in person event of the year. The event will also be streamed virtually for those individuals not able to attend in person.  We will celebrate surviving another challenging year for everyone, and discuss the plans for an exciting year in 2022 for ARMS SA.

We have a guest speaker, Professor Raymond Chan, who will speak about his new role at Flinders University, the challenges for research management, and his plans for the Caring Futures Institute.

Lunch will be provided for those attending in person.

In person registrations are limited. Please select If you will be attending in person or virtually.

Professor Raymond Chan

Professor Raymond Chan has recently moved to Adelaide from Brisbane to join Flinders University as the Director of the Caring Futures Institute.

Prof Chan’s research program focuses on optimising models of care and health services’ responses to address the needs of people affected by cancer in the survivorship phase. Prof Chan has published >160 peer-reviewed articles and 2 book chapters. In total, he has attracted >$24.6 million AUD of research funding as CI ($8.8 Million AUD as CIA), including 5 NHMRC Project Grants, 2 NHMRC Partnership Grants, 1 NHMRC Health Professional Fellowship, and 1 NHMRC Investigator Grant.
