The Opportunity
The Senior Grants Officer (Applications) will provide a range of specialist advisory and administrative services related to the effective delivery of support to the Monash research community leading up to the submission of research grant applications to the funding body. This includes the provision of expert, informed advice and reports to support business decision-making. The Senior Grants Officer (Applications) will manage and coordinate:
- Compliance and eligibility review processes for grant applications
- Funding scheme application rounds to national and international funders
- A small core team of grants officers
To be successful, you will have a degree plus substantial relevant higher education experience, preferably including experience in research administration, or an equivalent combination of experience and education/training in administration within the tertiary education sector including comprehensive knowledge of funding opportunities from government and non-government sources.
There are currently 2 positions available, x1 with the ARC, Grants & Contracts Team and x1 with Medical & Health Sciences Team
