Research Impact SIG:
Friday 24th September 2021 12PM AEST

The ARMS Research Impact Special Interest Group holds monthly networking sessions on the last Friday of the month.  Each month we have a discussion topic to loosely frame the conversation. The aim of the sessions is for our community to meet and share ideas.

The next session is Friday 24th September at 12pm AEST.

For the September networking session we’re very lucky to be joined by Dr Siew Fang Law from the Melbourne Centre for the Study of Higher Education (MCSHE), Melbourne Graduate School of Education. Her academic role contributes to the Centre’s research and professional development programs, focusing on developing best practices for ethical University-Industry-Community engagement, collaboration and partnerships.

Dr Law will first share some of the programs she runs through the MCSHE. She will draw insights gained from working with researchers and professional staff on engagement. Finally she will reflect on issues and opportunities with research managers and administrators whose roles are to support researchers building their confidence, knowledge and capabilities in engagement, collaboration and partnerships.

CPD: Accredited members (ARMAs and ARMFs) will automatically accrue 1 CPD hour per session.
