Najwa earned her doctorate from the University of New England and is currently completing her MBA with the Australian Institute of Management. As an experienced researcher, she has investigated diverse healthcare and gerontology issues, including dementia and end-of-life care, positive ageing, rehabilitation, reablement, and homelessness in aged populations.
Najwa is the co-chair of the ARMS NSW Chapter and an experienced research governance professional. She has a passion for promoting positive research culture and practice and ensuring high standards for research integrity and responsible research stewardship. In 2025, this passion took her across the other side of the world to Spain to attend the INORMS conference and present her research on positive research culture.
As co-chair of the NSW Chapter, Najwa is dedicated to offering professional development and networking opportunities to other research and business administrators.
