About the SIG

Funding organisations vary in size and objectives; but they all play a key part in the research and innovation landscape, and they encounter some unique research management challenges. The Research Funders’ SIG will be a platform to actively share information and practice learnings associated with developing and managing funding schemes. This might include sharing best practice investment models, governance approaches, program administration and other key issues.

The SIG is currently seeking new members who are willing to be active contributors. The group may be suitable for a variety of professionals who fund research within their sectors. This could include academia, government, business, health or the community sector. The SIG welcomes all experience levels.
