Research Impact SIG Networking Session - Thursday 29 February 2024

The ARMS Research Impact Special Interest Group  (RI-SIG) will continue its monthly networking sessions in 2024, held on the last Thursday of each month from 12-1pm AEDT/AEST. These sessions offer a chance to discuss current research impact issues and opportunities. This year, we'll mix it up with guest speaker sessions and open informal conversations based on various topics, encouraging our community to connect and share ideas. 

The theme for the initial informal discussion session of the year is 'Sowing the research impact seeds - balancing priorities when impact isn't the sole focus.'

As we resume our responsibilities following (hopefully) rejuvenating breaks and define priorities for the year, for some of our roles research impact is only one part and others it's the main game. In this informal discussion, we aim to exchange ideas and explore strategies that facilitate success in research impact professional practice - whether through cultivating networks within our organisations or adopting practices and solutions for improved outcomes.
