ARMS Bidding to Host INORMS Singapore 2029

On 25 March, ARMS President Hannah Allan (Curtin University), together with ARMS Chief Operating Officer Maria Zollo, presented the Society’s Stage 2 bid to the International Network of Research Management Societies (INORMS) Council to host the INORMS Congress 2029 in Singapore.

The INORMS Congress is hosted biennially and brings together research management professionals from around the world to share best practice, strengthen international collaboration, and advance the profession globally. The ARMS bid reflects the Society’s strong commitment to this mission and highlights Singapore as a vibrant and strategic location for the 2029 Congress.

We anticipate receiving the Council’s decision by the end of April, with a formal announcement to be made by the INORMS Council at that time.

ARMS extends its sincere gratitude to the Reference Group whose expertise and dedication were instrumental in shaping and strengthening the bid:

  • Hannah Allan, Curtin University
  • Jane Holt, RMIT University
  • Michael Khor, Nanyang Technological University
  • Willie Koh, Nanyang Technological University
  • Vesna Stefanovski, La Trobe University
  • Bryony Wakefield, King’s College London
  • Julie Ward, University of the Sunshine Coast
  • Joyce Yan, Curtin University

We thank all contributors for their time, insight, and commitment to supporting this significant opportunity for ARMS and the broader research management community.

The ARMS community will be updated following the INORMS Council’s announcement at the end of April.
