Dr Hayden Arnott is a Senior Research Funding Officer in the University of Tasmania’s Research Division. He joined the Research Funding team in 2023, where he supports researchers in the post award administration of research grants, contract research, and consultancy projects. Hayden utilises best practice project management to provide professional and timely management of research contracts in the higher education sector. Hayden also proactively develops and implements best-practice principles and processes to enhance Post Award research administration, with a newly developed focus on the use of AI tools in research management.
Before becoming a Senior Research Funding Officer, Hayden completed his PhD at the University of Tasmania, focusing on Molecular Neurobiology. Shortly after earning his PhD in 2022, he joined the Research Division as a Grant Reader and Research Administration Officer, excelling in grantsmanship and compliance reviews before moving to the Post Award sector.
