Lesley works in the Research and Postgraduate Directorate at Otago Polytechnic, now a subsidiary of the new institution Te Pūkenga. Her research interests are in achieving and evaluating research impact, and she has recently completed a Master of Professional Practice evaluating the emotional impact of an exhibition of contemporary environmental artworks. Lesley came to research management after a career in legal practice.
