Looking for opportunities to advance your research management career in 2024?

Applications for the next round of the Established Level Accreditation Program (ELAP) are now open!

APPLICATIONS CLOSE Thursday 07 March 2024

Are you a Research Management Professional operating at the mid-to-senior level, seeking to elevate your leadership, management, and content-related competencies to excel as a more impactful research leader? If so, why not consider the ARMS Established Level Accreditation Program (ELAP) for your professional development in 2024?

The ELAP is crafted to address the varied requirements of Research Management Professionals. While foundational knowledge and skills remain crucial, the program acknowledges the significance of delivering specialised expertise tailored to individual roles.

Participants can select from a range of mandatory and optional components that can be taken over a three (3) year period.

The program utilises a points-based system, enabling the acknowledgment of prior learning and formal education obtained from sources external to ARMS (subject to specific criteria).

Did you also know that those individuals that have been accredited at the Foundation Level will automatically receive 25 points credited towards their ELAP progress? This allocation constitutes 25% of the total 100 points required for program completion and is classified as assessed points.

What will be covered?

The ELAP comprises three (3) compulsory elements:

     1.  Leadership, Management and Strategic Thinking Program;
     2.  three (3) content specific Electives; and
     3.  nine (9) hours of group learning opportunities.

Additionally, participants are required to complete:

     4.  other ARMS assessed programs (e.g., FLAP or master classes); and
     5.  other non-assessed programs including those outside of ARMS.
