The International Research Management Travel Grant – 2026 (IRMTG26), formerly known as the International Travel Award Program (ITAP), is a key ARMS initiative supporting our strategic priority to elevate professional development for members.
This grant provides financial assistance to Research Management Professionals to undertake international exchanges, enabling global learning experiences that strengthen expertise, expand networks, and bring valuable insights back to the ARMS community.
Key Objectives
• Advance professional development and training for Research Management Professionals.
• Strengthen global networks through collaboration and knowledge exchange.
• Empower members to share international learnings with their organisations and the wider ARMS community.
Eligibility
Applicants must be current financial ARMS members, have at least 5 years’ professional experience, secure organisational support via a Letter of Commitment, and commit to disseminating knowledge gained.
Funding Available
Up to two awards of AUD$5,000 each will be offered. Travel must occur between 1 August 2026 – 31 January 2027.

• Assessment: June 2026
• Notification: End July 2026
