The Australasian Research Management Society (ARMS) is pleased to announce that nominations are now open for the 2027 INORMS Awards for Excellence in Research Management Leadership.
This prestigious award is an initiative of the INORMS Council, recognising outstanding research management leaders who have made significant international contributions to the profession. We are proud to share that financial support for the ARMS nominee is being provided by ARMS for this award, reinforcing our commitment to celebrating excellence within our community.
Each INORMS member association is invited to nominate one outstanding candidate. Accordingly, ARMS is now seeking nominations from eligible members to put forward as our representative for the 2027 awards.
About the Award
The INORMS Awards for Excellence in Research Management Leadership recognise individuals who demonstrate:
- Exceptional contributions to the research management profession at an international level
- Alignment with the objectives of INORMS
- Visionary leadership and ongoing impact across the global research management community
The successful ARMS nominee will:
- Be recognised internationally at the INORMS Congress in Montreal (27–30 April 2027)
- Receive formal recognition at the ARMS Annual Conference 2027
- Be conferred the honorary title of Fellow of ARMS (where applicable)
- Receive financial support of up to AUD $3,000 to attend either the INORMS Congress or the ARMS Annual Conference

Eligible ARMS members are invited to submit a completed nomination by the closing date. Nominations should be sent to: ARMSMembership@researchmanagement.org.au
Late submissions cannot be accepted.
