The Society is calling for ARMS Training Fellows to deliver two new programs. ARMS are seeking nominations from qualified and experienced research management professionals to deliver two new, soon to be released classes on:

• Costing and Pricing of Research Master Class; and
• Fundamentals of Project Management Master Class.

If you have the expertise and experience in presenting and are seeking an enriching opportunity to share best practice with the ARMS community, then this is the role for you!

ARMS are pleased to announce that in August we will be delivering two new master classes!

 

Costing and Pricing of Research

This master class has been developed to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of Research Project Costing and Pricing to ultimately ensure there are enough resources for a project to be successfully completed within the project scope and ensure that key organisational and Investor requirements have been considered. Scheduled delivery over two days: 20th (10AM - 12PM AEST) and 23rd (2 - 4PM AEST) of August 2021. 

 

Fundamentals of Project Management

This master class has been developed to provide participants with an introduction to the fundamentals of project management, and how these are implemented in a research organisation. The master class takes an approach of describing project management activities for research administrators; however some sections provide information which is specific for the management of research projects and programs. Scheduled delivery over two days: 27th (11AM – 2:30PM AEST) and 30th (11AM – 2:30PM AEST) of August 2021.

• Registration: Opening in late July 2021.
• Delivery: Master Classes offered over two partial days.
• Member Price: AUD$440 GST inclusive, Non-member: AUD$540
