Overview:

Effective costing and pricing of research projects is a crucial skill for Researchers, Research Management Professionals, Department Finance Officers, and Commercial Managers. The Costing and Pricing of Research Master Class is designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of research project costing and pricing. This ensures projects are adequately resourced and meet both organizational and investor requirements.

Target Audience:

The Master Class is ideal for Researcher Management Professionals and Research Commercial Managers involved in the costing and pricing of research projects. While the focus is on the university environment, the content is also applicable to other research institutions such as Cooperative Research Centres (CRCs), hospitals, research institutes, and organizations like CSIRO.

    • All associated delivery material including the Body of Knowledge and a copy of the slide deck following the workshop.

  • The confirmation email will include a link to the Body of Knowledge (pre-reading) and any other relevant study materials. These resources will be sent at least seven (7) days prior to the workshop, or at the time of registration.

Assessment and Accreditation Points:

  • Participants will be invited to complete a non-compulsory assessment, due two (2) weeks after receiving the link from the ARMS Executive Office.
  • This Master Class does not count towards the Foundation Level Accreditation Program (FLAP).
  • Those seeking accreditation points towards the Established Level Accreditation Program (ELAP) must successfuly complete the assessment.
