Walk & Talk Series: Connecting Research Managers Through Nature, Art & Conversation
Join us for a series of walking events designed to connect research managers across institutions, spark meaningful conversations, and explore the unique character of each campus. These walks are an opportunity to step away from the desk, engage with peers, and reflect on the broader context of our work in research management. These walks are open to all ARMS Victoria Chapter members – you don’t need to be at these institutions.
Each walk will feature a different theme; in 2025, we focus on Art and Wetlands at Deakin University providing a chance to explore how our environments influence research, collaboration, and wellbeing.
What should we bring? Comfortable walking shoes, weather-appropriate clothes including a hat, sunscreen & water bottle. The terrain is generally easy to walk.
Come along to share experiences, build connections, and enjoy a moment of reflection in nature. Light refreshments provided at the end of each walk.
