For the first time, the VIC and ACT Chapters will jointly host an event. This online panel will feature recipients of the 2025 Melbourne Conference Grant. Our panellists will share their perspectives on:

Ms Kailey Tonini
Kailey works in Research Impact and Engagement at the University of Canberra (UC) as the Senior Coordinator, Research Impact & Engagement and has a background in communications and marketing. She has worked in communication and marketing agencies and in-house at the University, developing skills in marketing strategy and coordination, social media, media relations, content development, website management, and more. In her current role, Kailey works with faculties and researchers to embrace an impact lens on their work and aims to embed impact planning, engagement knowledge translation, and impact storytelling in University of Canberra research to drive positive change for the Capital region and beyond.
Kailey received a 2025 Melbourne Conference Grant and is a member of the ACT Chapter.
Dr Tulika Basak
Tulika is a Specialist in Research Funding at the Faculty of Arts and Education, helping academics secure funding and providing high-level advice on opportunities and performance. She liaises across the faculty and central teams—including Finance, Grants and Contracts, and Business Development—to make the research funding process easier to follow. Tulika moved from the central Research Funding Services team to this secondment role, bringing expertise, a love of collaboration, and a knack for keeping everyone sane when the process gets tricky. In her downtime, she indulges her fascination with dinosaurs—T. rex remains a particular favourite.
Tulika received a 2025 Melbourne Conference Grant and is a member of the Victorian Chapter.
Ms Divya Shankar
Divya works in the Research Analytics and Institutional team in the capacity of Advisor, Research Outputs and Data. She is passionate about analysing and organising data and presenting it in an accurate and engaging manner. She is also interested in leveraging AI to optimise data performance and insights.
Divya received a 2025 Melbourne Conference Grant and is a member of the ACT Chapter.
Ms Sally Storey
Over the past five years at the ARC Centre of Excellence for Automated Decision-Making and Society (ADM+S), based at RMIT University, Sally has led the design and delivery of cross-disciplinary research training initiatives that support the next generation of researchers. As Manager, Research Training and Development, she develops and delivers the strategic and operational direction of the Centre’s Research Training Program, which spans eight leading Australian universities. Her work focuses on supporting higher degree by research (HDR) students and early career researchers through tailored career development opportunities, continuous industry engagement, and international knowledge exchange—ensuring our research community is equipped to address the complex challenges of automated decision-making.
Sally received a 2025 Melbourne Conference Grant and is a member of the Victorian Chapter.
Dr Li (Helly) He
Helly works in the Research Funding and Development team at Victoria University (VU), where she brings both expertise and passion to supporting researchers in grant applications, tenders, and research proposals, as well as in building partnerships for industry and commercialisation-focused projects. Helly holds a PhD in Sustainable Tourism and is a Research Associate with VU’s Institute for Sustainable Industries and Liveable Cities. She is also a current member of the ARMS Victorian Chapter Committee.
Dr Davina Dadley Moore
Dr Davina Dadley-Moore ARM(F) is a Senior Project Manager in the Research Development Team at Monash University. Davina has over a decade of experience in research management, specialising in research and researcher development. Davina joined the ARMS Victorian Chapter Committee in August 2022, became Acting Convenor in November 2023 and then Co-Convenor in April 2024. She is a keen advocate for the continuing professional development of research managers and administrators.
