PD Sessions @ Zoom: Tales From the Other Side - A Researcher’s Perspective of “Good” Research Management - 20 Aug 2025
Researchers and Research Managers & Administrators bring together a vast range of complementary skills and experience, enabling them to achieve great feats. While researchers bring a strong command of their discipline and skills in research design and delivery, research managers and administrators provide strategy, essential compliance knowledge, and communication skills required for success across the research spectrum. This partnership is complex, rewarding, challenging… and necessary for both to thrive!
At this session, hear from a panel of researchers of different career stages as we discuss what researchers value in research managers, what models and types of support are most beneficial, and how we can all best work together to drive research success.
