Chapter Event - online

The NZ/PI Chapter of ARMS invites you to attend their virtual event!

New Zealand’s Ministry of Business, Innovation & Employment has recently launched two new funds: He Aka Ka Toro, which aims to advance iwi, hapū, hapori, and Māori Research, Science and Innovation (RSI) priorities and He Tipu Ka Hua, which aims to build the capability and capacity of Māori to engage with RSI. Māori organisations were eligible to apply, applications have been received by MBIE and are now being assessed, and contracts will begin in March 2024.

All NZ-based research managers will find it valuable to understand these funds and the types of projects in which they will invest, both to help their research organisations support those initiatives and because the Māori organisations supported by those funds could be valuable research partners in the near future.

Date: Wednesday, 25 October 2023
