In this role you will:

  • build relationships with government bodies, private-sector and special interest sector groups to better connect science with end-user priorities
  • understand and effectively communicate end-user needs, to ensure GNS Science is ready to respond to current and future opportunities and deliver benefit to our clients
  • develop strategic partnerships to improve the relevance and impact of our science and create new opportunities for high-value products and services.

By building effective, high-trust relationships, you will contribute to GNS Science’s mission of a cleaner, safer, and more prosperous New Zealand.

Naturally you will:

  • Be an experienced and confident relationship builder with sufficient science knowledge to communicate effectively with scientists and external agencies alike
  • Have proven experience collaborating and working with clients and stakeholders, and developing and implementing new products and services that meet client needs
  • Have demonstrated commercial acumen
