2025 draws to a close and it’s time to swap the office desk for good vibes, laughter, and connections! ARMS WA Chapter end-of-year networking bash is all about celebrating research professional wins, meeting new faces, and kicking back with great company from other WA universities, Research Institutions and hospitals.
Think lively conversations, a relaxed atmosphere, and plenty of opportunities to mix, mingle, and make lasting connections. Come raise a glass with ARMS colleagues, bring your energy, and let’s end 2025 on a high note!

Ms Hannah Allan - Curtin University
Hannah Allan is a senior research management leader with 10 years of experience in the Australian higher education and research sector. She currently serves as Director of Research Services and Systems at Curtin University, where she leads strategic, people and systems-driven initiatives to strengthen research support, governance, and institutional capability.
Elected President of the Australasian Research Management Society (ARMS) in 2024, Hannah represents research management professionals across Australia, New Zealand, and Singapore, championing the recognition and development of research management professionals, advocating for sector collaboration and improvements, and contributing to national strategy.
Prior to working in research, Hannah spent 15 years in leadership roles across the banking, finance, and logistics industries, building a strong foundation in operational leadership, service transformation, and stakeholder engagement. A Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD) and an experienced change practitioner, she has led complex organisational and digital transformation initiatives with a focus on strategic alignment and people-centred implementation.
Committed to the value of lifelong learning, Hannah is currently completing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at Edith Cowan University, further deepening her capabilities in leadership, strategy, and governance. She is passionate about enabling impactful research through effective systems, collaborative leadership, and investment in people.

Should your circumstances change, and you are unable to attend this event, you must contact ARMSMembership@researchmanagement.org.au by no later than 10 working days prior to the commencement of the scheduled event. ARMS will refund the full registration fee minus any administrative fees.
Should you cancel less than 10 working days prior to the commencement of this workshop, no refund will be payable but instead you may wish to send a proxy.
ARMS reserve the right to cancel, postpone or re-schedule courses and events due to minimum numbers not being reached or for other unforeseen circumstances. In the event of a cancellation, ARMS will aim to advise all participants in writing five (5) days prior to the scheduled event and will refund the full registration fee including administrative charges within 30 days after notification.
