VIC Chapter: EoY Cocktail Networking Event - 18 November 2026

We have booked exclusive use of the venue’s “Fall from Grace” room – i.e., a cellar bar hidden downstairs behind a “Narnian” bookcase door. Prepare to be dazzled with old world charm, with dim lighting, rustic velvet couches and vintage furniture. We will be offering sparkling wine, basic spirits, beer, canapes, non-alcoholic drinks and more. Each attendee will be given 2 drink tokens to receive their 2 free drinks of choice. We will also be serving canapes and chips catering for a broad range of dietaries. 

In terms of location, the venue is located on King St, near Flinders Lane. By train, this is a short walk from Southern Cross station and Flinders St Station. Alternatively, take any of the trams in the CBD that run along Collins St or Flinders St (e.g., 70, 75, 11, 12, 48 and 109). Please note that lift access to the venue space downstairs is available for guests with mobility requirements. 

The dress code is formal / cocktail style in line with the venue policy. Strictly NO casual jeans and runners. Numbers are limited, so make sure you RSVP early to reserve your spot and ensure you reserve your free drink tokens.

• Upon registration your name and organisation will be provided to the chapter convenor or event organiser, to record attendance and manage the event.
• This event may be photographed and posted to ARMS platforms, if you don’t want to be included in these photographs, please advise the event organiser at the event.

ARMS CANCELLATION POLICY

Should your circumstances change, and you are unable to attend this event, you must contact ARMSMembership@researchmanagement.org.au by no later than 10 working days prior to the commencement of the scheduled event. ARMS will refund the full registration fee minus any administrative fees.

Should you cancel less than 10 working days prior to the commencement of this workshop, no refund will be payable but instead you may wish to send a proxy.

ARMS reserve the right to cancel, postpone or re-schedule courses and events due to minimum numbers not being reached or for other unforeseen circumstances.  In the event of a cancellation, ARMS will aim to advise all participants in writing five (5) days prior to the scheduled event and will refund the full registration fee including administrative charges within 30 days after notification.
