Dr Tania Wilmann - James Cook University

 

 

 

 

 

Tania works in research strategy and performance, with a focus on research information management systems, analytics, reporting, and research performance frameworks. She has led and contributed to major cross-institutional initiatives involving research systems, data integration, and sector benchmarking, including the implementation of new research management platforms. Her work spans research operations, performance assessment, and translating complex institutional data into practical insights for decision-making and strategy.

 

Dr John Milnes - University of Otago

 

 

 

 

 

John started in Research & Enterprise at Otago University in 2013, first as Operations Manager and then as Research Information Manager. There are three main parts to this role: 1) strategic analysis of the University’s external research performance, 2) portfolio manager for internal research funding, and 3) product owner for the grants management system (RAS).

 

Ashley Stewart - Monash University

 

 

 

 

 

A key theme throughout Ashley’s career has been embracing new technologies to manage data in an ever-changing world. In her current role at Monash University, she uses her experience across the research lifecycle to drive improvement initiatives, manage research systems and increase accessibility of research information to support data-driven decision-making.
