NSW Chapter: In-person End-of-Year Celebration - 26 November 2026
Pizza, networking, and stargazing. What better way to wrap up 2026? Join ARMS NSW members for an evening of great conversation over pizza at UBar, followed by a private observatory tour and guided stargazing experience at Macquarie University. Whether you're a long-time ARMS member or new to the community, this is a fantastic opportunity to connect with colleagues and celebrate another year in research management. Places for the observatory tour are limited, so register early to secure your spot.

Location: Macquarie University (exact location to be included in confirmation email)
Inclusions:
- Antipasti platters and pizzas, including special dietary requirements
- Juices and soft drinks - up to two standard drinks per person such beer, wine, cider, etc.
- Observatory tour and guided stargazing
Cost:
- This event is complimentary for ARMS members. Please log in to your member portal to complete your registration at no cost.
- Non-members - AUD $60 (GST inclusive)
RSVP Essential: By Thursday, 12 November 2026
Note that the observatory requires final registration numbers one week in advance of the tour booking, and no-shows incur costs. Please email rahel.cramer@mq.edu.au no later than COB Monday, 16 November 2026 if you registered for the observatory tour and are no longer able to attend. Note that the observatory and stargazing tour may be cancelled in case of poor weather conditions e.g., rain and/or significant cloud cover.
Notes
- Upon registration your name and organisation will be provided to the chapter convenor or event organiser, to record attendance and manage the event.
- This event may be photographed and posted to ARMS platforms, if you don’t want to be included in these photographs, please advise the event organiser at the event.
Should your circumstances change, and you are unable to attend this event, you must contact ARMSMembership@researchmanagement.org.au by no later than 10 working days prior to the commencement of the scheduled event. ARMS will refund the full registration fee minus any administrative fees.
Should you cancel less than 10 working days prior to the commencement of this workshop, no refund will be payable but instead you may wish to send a proxy.
ARMS reserve the right to cancel, postpone or re-schedule courses and events due to minimum numbers not being reached or for other unforeseen circumstances. In the event of a cancellation, ARMS will aim to advise all participants in writing five (5) days prior to the scheduled event and will refund the full registration fee including administrative charges within 30 days after notification.
