SIG Event - online

The Health & Medical Research SIG and Research Impact SIG are jointly hosting a professional development session exploring how research impact is developed and realised in health and medical research.

This session will feature a conversation with Ken Knight, Head of Research Impact & Consumer Involvement at the Murdoch Children’s Research Institute, who will share insights from his experience supporting the translation of research into real-world outcomes.

The discussion will explore topics such as embedding pathways to impact within research programmes, approaches to evidencing impact, and how researchers position their work to achieve national and global impact. The session aims to demystify research impact and provide practical perspectives on how RMAs working in health and medical research contexts can effectively support researchers to maximise the impact of their work.
