AI SIG - Building a Copilot Studio Academy: Lessons from Waipapa Taumata Rau | University of Auckland - 12 Aug 2026

Nick and Brittany will share the University's journey to establish a Copilot Studio Academy for non-IT professionals to build AI agents for research management and administration.

The session will explore:

• Rationale for selecting Copilot Studio as our low-code platform of choice
• The structure of the Academy, its chapters and standards
• Approaches to essential learning and onboarding for Makers
• Approaches to development, testing and deployment
• Key challenges encountered and lessons learned
• Plans for scaling the Academy across the institution.

This session will be of interest to research management professionals looking to adopt and scale Copilot Studio.
